Call for Proposals
We are now accepting applications for HBA Talks through 2 April 2026.
Submission Requirements:
- Biography (150-word max)

Submission Deadline: 2 April 20256
Selection Process
Review Committee: A review committee comprised of HBA staff and Member Leaders will evaluate all submitted proposals.
Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on relevance to the conference theme, clarity of message, originality, and potential impact.
Notification: Speakers selected to present will be notified on 15 April 2026.
Speaker Requirements
Upon selection, HBA Talks speakers will be required to provide the following:
- Speaker Agreement: Speakers must submit a signed speaker agreement outlining their commitment to the conference guidelines and deadlines, as well as affirming their agreement to grant HBA permissions regarding promotion, recording, and capturing images and quotes from the event.
- Presentation Preparation: Speakers are responsible for preparing a concise and engaging presentation that adheres to the allocated time limit.
- Tech Check: Speakers must participate in an onsite tech rehearsal at an agreed-upon time that will be determined in advance of the conference.
