The 2023 HBA Annual Conference will be held 6-8 November at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk hotel in Chicago, IL.  

This annual conference convenes women and men at all stages of their careers to build business connections for a sustainable leadership advantage, learn from industry leaders to broaden perspective, and develop actionable insights. 

HBA members and employees of our Corporate Partners are invited to attend. Not an HBA member? No problem! We've made it easy for you and you can add an annual membership to your conference registration. 

Business attire. Be sure to bring active wear if you sign up for the morning yoga or cardio group fitness sessions.

Provided breakfasts are buffet-style functions which will allow you to select foods to meet your needs. Click here for instructions on how to provide dietary restrictions and preferences for luncheon functions within your HBA profile. Email us to communicate any ADA needs. Dietary restrictions and ADA needs that are not communicated cannot be guaranteed accommodation.

Nearly all of the conference’s education and events are available to all registrants and pre-registration is not required. 

Exceptions include pre-conference seminars and Elevated Connections which are offered at an additional fee and have limited capacities. Coaching Sessions, Learning Circles, the Women of Color Wellness Summit, and morning fitness activities are offered complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis and require advanced registration. These conference enhancements can be added during registration. No, single day passes to the 2023 HBA Annual Conference are not available.

Cancellation Policy:  

Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund (minus a $225/€206 administrative fee) until 20 October 2023. A completed cancellation form must be received in writing via email no later than 20 October 2023. Registrants who do not cancel by 20 October 2023 and do not attend will be responsible for the full registration fee.  

* Note: If a portion of your registration fee is covering HBA membership dues ($249/€230) this is nonrefundable and nontransferable per the HBA policy.

Substitution Policy:

Confirmed registrations may substitute their registration by 20 October 2023. A completed substitution form must be received in writing via email no later than 20 October 2023. Substitutions made 21 October 2023 through 6 November 2023 are subject to a $175/€161 administrative fee. Substitution to a nonmember will require paid membership to the HBA in addition to the substitution fee.

International attendees may need a letter of invitation from the HBA to obtain a visa to visit the United States. After you have registered, please follow the visa letter application process outlined in your confirmation email. 

No, the 2023 HBA Annual Conference is not a virtual event. After the conclusion of conference, #HBAAC23 registrants will have limited-time access to keynote and breakout session recordings via the conference App.

During registration, you will be directed to choose available Learning Circles and Coaching Sessions as "add on" events. If you have already registered for the HBA Annual Conference and would like to add one of these sessions to your registration, please contact us. 

Submit your information or a recommended speaker on the HBA speaker recommendation form. The HBA continuously reviews submissions to source speakers that meet our needs at the Annual Conference and throughout the year. While there is no guarantee of selection, this is the best way to get us your information.  

Add your promo code during registration to claim your pass. If you copy and paste the code, it can cause an error message to appear.
